Warning, I have not read any of the spoilers. I don't actually know why people are freaking out. This post contains no spoilers, just common concerns and my responses. I will be lj-cutting it anyways. I am trying to look at the concerns from a logical stance and reply to them. This is also my attempt to kill my desire to freak out about OotP.

So here's the deal: as a fandom everyone is worried about the Fifth Book. As slashers, people are even more worried. Common concerns:

I had a dream that I impaled my good on a piece of glass and now my foot is killing me.

Had a great conversation with nancyrose last night, we talked each other down from the ledge or spoiler doom.

nancyrose11: one day 15 hours 37 minutes
nancyrose11: i'm so not reading anymore
meublechat: oh geez. I need to to swear off the internet for at least 45 hours.
nancyrose11: no lj's...no websites...no emails...except for na of course
meublechat: Why isn't NA keeping me entertained right now? Someone needs to post.
nancyrose11: I know it!! they're probably all reading their spoiler-ridden email
meublechat: With all this stress it is quite likely that I will spontaneously combust.
nancyrose11: I have a fire extinguisher standing by
meublechat: oh good.
meublechat: I have a smoke alarm but that's it.


I then proceeded to stay up until 8:30 in the morning. I am absolutely crazy. But it was quite fun.

Now I'm tOObing off to the post office with a package for mahoney *whistles* i wonder what it is.
