1. Lessons Learned From Rocky 1 to Rocky III - Cornershop
There's this one scene in the first season of Smallville where Lex is speeding down the road listening to this awesome song (bonus: Wogs Will Walk) and I hunted down the band and bought their album. Handcream For a Generation is my number one zoning out at work album. It's not too lyrically intensive, the songs flow together, and it's upbeat.
2. Lollipop (remix) - Lil Wayne ft. T-Pain
This is the sexiest remix. I was so so on the original version but this one is straight aural sex.
3. Look Out Young Son - Grand Ole Party
The best band no one's ever heard of. They're from San Diego and put on a damned good show. See them live!
4. Love and Sex and Magic - Ciara ft. Justin Timberlake
The first time I heard this song on the radio I knew it was Justin within the first 5 seconds just from the way he says "yeah".
5. L.A. - Christian Kane
This is the full version of the song Lindsey sings in Lorne's club in Angel. I was over the freaking moon the when I came across the full version.

1. What's hit your fl lately that you think is totally lame but keep to yourself?
Three weeks ago I would have said Stargate Atlantis. I hated that acronym and the fact that half the good writers on my flist were spending inordinate amounts of time writing about characters I did not want to read about. Currently though? I'm pretty happy with the friendslist content. I'm sure there'll be something new and obnoxious in another 3 weeks though.
2. If you could get away with it, what crime would you commit?
Right now I'm really wishing I could hack the Law School Admissions Council and alter my LSAT score but I don't think that's thinking big enough for a crime I'd never get punished for. I'd probably go with some sort of large scale theft. Heists always look fun in the movies.
3. What do you wish internal combustion engines could run off of?
Water. Or possibly air. Something completely renewable with negligible environmental impact.
4. Butter or margerine?
Margarine. The vegan expeller-pressed oils kind with no trans-fats and no hydrogenated oils. Because when it comes down to it, I'm kind of a hippy.
5. Do you speak or read any languages besides English (Klingon or morse code would work)?
I took five years of French and all I've got to show for it was a failing grade on the AP test and a couple bizarre French songs about girls turning into boys and masquerade parties.
Questions from

1) What's one non-negotiable trait a romantic partner must have?
A political outlook similar to mine. I honestly can't compromise on that. I don't think it would matter who they were. If Joe Flanigan showed up on my doorstep tomorrow--well, I'd be all about the sex, but there's no way I could ever have a relationship with him if he thought homeless people deserved to be homeless and cops should be able to shoot whoever they want.
2) What's the most overrated TV show currently on the air?
Heh. Reality anything would be the easy answer but I think I'll go with Lost. I watched it last year but the writers--well, lost me when they continued to drag out every single mystery and event without even a hint of resolution.
3) If you could go back and witness one historical event, what would you choose?
Oh wow. Ten million possibilities have just lept into my mind. If I could go back and participate in any historical event I'd probably choose to be part of the freedom rides. But going back to witness a historical event I'm more tempted to choose the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. Seeing Martin Luther King Jr. give that speech in person would be amazing.
4) If you could make a difference as an activist for one cause, what would you pick?
They're all really tied together in my head but I guess maybe I'd choose to continue to fight for a media not controlled by corporations and conservative interests. The media have an amazing amount of control over public thought and I'd like to think that making a difference there would help make a difference in other places too.
5) What's your favorite song from the 80's?
Crap. I don't know if I could really pick one but my biggest 80's music guilty pleasure has to be [ Starship - We Built This City ] Last week it came on my iPod on random right when I was driving onto the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco (which is the city the song is about) I swear my iPod is thought sensitive. (which, now that I'm thinking about it, would make a cool Ancient device in SGA a thought/mood controlled music player going haywire and broadcasting rodney's thoughts at embarrassing times would rock.)

Ten Things I've Done That's Other People Might Not Have:
1. Cooked and served about 50 people free food every week for the past 3 years.
2. Been called "hey, condom girl!" regularly.
3. Lived in a country other than the US.
4. Had a celebrity buy me a drink.
5. Taken a train ride across the US.
6. Attempted to read Don Quixote at the tender age of 10.
7. Made it to the age of 15 without ever tasting Kool-Aid.
8. Hiccoughed about once every 45 minutes for over 9 years (and still going strong).
9. Fulfilled my childhood dream by the time I was 17.
10. Had my car catch on fire while driving on the freeway.
Veronica Mars is an awesome tv show. I'm totally hooked. And bummed that I have to wait until the end of March for a new episode. Wahhh.
Fred Durst freaks me out a lot. Reading Paris Hilton's email has proved amusing though. She was scheduled to appear the Wondercon (that comic book convention I went to the other week) with Elisha Cuthbert to promote their movie House of Wax. According to the emails though, Paris dropped out saying "no way am I going to that comic shit" and Warner Brothers was pissed. I on the other hand, thought it was dead funny. After all, Paris Hilton and comic books aren't a likely mix. Hell Paris and books don't seem all that likely a mix either.
And in the ohsowrong category: Numb3rs slash. It's oh man, I like Numb3rs but I'm not sold on the idea of fanfiction in the universe because well, the characters aren't all that dynamic. But this one is actually pretty good, if you're into the whole incest-wrongness thing. And christ, well all know how much I like the Boondock Saints right?

( Boondock Saints Connor/Murphy )
The final two episodes of House are uploading, so I should be able to get back to you all with them later today. One of my neighbors is like, banging something into their wall or something. They've been at it for an hour now. WTF? These walls are like, triple thickness and soundproofed. I've no clue what's going on.
