Sorry guys I had to friendslock this, you can find the locked entry here. Um, I usually lock these episodes and I just forgot this time but I really don't have the bandwidth this month to keep it open, sorry!

In other news [livejournal.com profile] ladyjackyl has the somewhat dubious honor of being the first (and only) person I've ever written fic for.

When Connor was 7 he lied in confession for the first time. He told the priest he had nothing to confess after he got in a fight with his brother. Murphy lied too, although Connor didn't know it then. Murphy confessed to backtalking his Ma but he never mentioned punching his brother in the face.

When Connor and Murphy were 12 they kissed each other. Just to practice, they wanted to be able to do it right with the girls later on, when it would be real.

When they were 14 their Ma's brother, Uncle Eoghan, took them shooting. That had been a test too, although they didn't know it at the time.

They were 23 when they decided to move to Boston. Murph wanted an adventure and Connor just wanted Murphy. The decision was made over a pint of beer and another fight with their Ma. It was dead simple really, they knew as soon as Murphy suggested America that they'd go, Boston was more of an afterthought than a destination.

They kissed again at 24. Something about being alone in a completely new country, without the ever present eyes of their giant catholic family, being filled with the knowledge that Connor would always be there made Murphy crawl into Connor's tiny, uncomfortable bed and just...indulge.

The final two episodes of House are uploading, so I should be able to get back to you all with them later today. One of my neighbors is like, banging something into their wall or something. They've been at it for an hour now. WTF? These walls are like, triple thickness and soundproofed. I've no clue what's going on.

[livejournal.com profile] dacey made a really interesting post about lurkers earlier and it got me thinking. I guess I mostly assume that about half the people who have me friended actually read my posts. I have no clue if this true but I think I've always thought it probably is. In case anyone ever wonders about my reading habits I read absolutely everyone's journal who I have friended. Anyway this whole lurker thing got me thinking, is there anyone out there who reads my journal regularly and doesn't comment? I'm going to second [livejournal.com profile] dacey and take this moment to say:
"If you read my journal and you've never commented or said hello, I'd love it if you'd do that. Just...say hi. Give me a wave. And then you can go back to watching if you want. I promise I don't bite. And I'll wave back. : ) "

Yep. I’m a lurker. Most people do not like it, but it is just my way in every aspect of life...shy and all of that.

I can’t say I read 100% of all my friended people’s posts...it really depends on what I’m doing that day or how I’m feeling, but I Do try to keep up.

Anyway, Hi. *waves*

Ack! It's saying the addy for the download is incorrect... it has 'ww' instead of 'www'. Which is kind of funny, because I've done that same thing twice this week! :P

*waves* I read all the journals on my flist. Except for the ones that consistently have spoilers outside of cuttags.

I'm lucky enough not to have anyone who doesn't use cuttags on my flist, it would drive me absolutely nuts if I did though. I hate being spoiled. (also hi! I read your entries as well, it's good to know you're reading too.)

second, i was a lurker in your journal, always enjoyed the posts, but never had the courage to say hi or something, i was afraid of the reaction i guess, like "who are you and what you are doing here" jejeje, but i`m not like that anymore, well at least in your journal :P

Thanks and yup, it's a relatively small fandom though, but the fics produced are usually long and involved. I just created a guide for it if you're interested and can afford another fandom. =)

I really like your BS fic; a short, sharp and sweet history of them looking out for each other. And, well, indulging ;-D I hope you write more!

Thanks! I can't say I have any plans to write more but this one was sort of sitting in the back of my head. The Boondock Saints universe is fascinating to me, there's so many ways for the twins to have gotten to the point they're at when the movie happens and I think that history, especially with regards to how close they are is fascinating. I just wanted to a few snapshots of one possible history down because I keep wondering about it in my head.

First Sunday in March? You come on by and meet people?

Sundays are really bad days for me, I've got Food Not Bombs cookings on Sundays and homework that I've procrastinated on. I really want to come sometime I'm just not sure when I'll be able to get free. :(
