I signed up as an artist for this year's spn_j2_bigbang. I am so full of ideas just from the prompt, I can't wait to start working on the art.

Unrelated: I just got word that my friend was able to get pro-registration at comic con for me so it looks like I'll be down there. Anyone else planning on being down there? I'd love to meet up!

I am currently in Paris, although I will be departing for Lyon in the Morning and then on to Switzerland for a few days from there. Things are going exceedingly well, Paris is awesome, I'm finding that I know way more French than I had anticipated and in a bid to see how over my exboyfriend I am I made out with a cute Argentinian boy last night. Très fun!

I am utterly charmed by Paris, and the French habit of hanging out streetside in cafès for hours at a time. I was completely underwhelmed by le centre pompidou and notre dame cathedral, but we walked ovre to Luxemburg gardens and Saint Sulpice Cathedral and they were both gorgeous. Saint Sulpice felt like a true place of worship, while all the tourists at Notre Dame felt like sacrilege. (Funny how gorgeous churches bring back my catholicism like nothing else.)

I'm off to explore Parisean night life a bit more.
