I'm thinking about getting a tattoo on my ankle. I want to put my name in cursive along with the irish harp on my right ankle. It would be a pretty small tattoo but it would also be my first visible tattoo. If I want to be a lawyer or a college professor later on do you guys think that having a visible tattoo would be a bad thing?

eta I'm interested in civil rights/digital privacy/copyfighting in terms of law careers, and if I taught it's be history or political science at the junior college level.
