I have been very blah about lj these last few days. Mostly I think it's a lack of time, but I've not really been on messenger much either, real life has been pretty hectic, I guess I'm trying to have some sort of social life or something. Huh.

In sparkly pop related news JC was completely utterly adorable on Leno tonight, PINK bondage pants and large boots and CURLS oh man, it's such an overload of pretty whenever he's on my tv. Also, my love for Ross the Intern is pure and true, he is so hilarious!

The new episode of Queer Eye was awesome, those boys rock hardcore man, they're so cute. The straight guy on the other hand? I wasn't so into him, but Thom did an incredible job on his apartment, it looked incredible in the end. Also, the fab five was on Conan tonight, have I ever mentioned my Conan love? He's so incredibly goofy I cannot help but love him. It helps that half his jokes are completely self-mocking (hmm there is a better word for that isn't there? I cannot remember it.)

I skipped my Bio class last thursday and today when I went into History this guy whoese in Bio too goes "you ready for the Bio test today?" And I was like "uh, test? what?" I didn't get a chance to study, and of course I haven't even opened my textbook, but at least I had a chance to go buy a scantron. I'll wait to see my score but I think I might actually have done pretty well.

I just started reading lotr_speakeasy a Lotrips AU set in 1920's Chicago. It's really good guys, you should check it out. There's Viggo/Orlando UST and all sorts of intrigue. Plus, it's set in the 20's and you really can't get much cooler than that.

I seem to be discussing late night television every other paragraph or something. So to keep with this trend let me just say: Carmen and Dave on Newlyweds? Is my reality television weakness. I <3 them together. And I am completely enamored with seeing them be so leveled. The fact that Dave talks about his addictions with such openness is something I really admire. They both just seem very whole and grounded which is so at odds with their star personas. And Dave has a kickass skull and crossbones tattoo.

Oh yeah, I have a new icon because this is truly, The Age of Chasez. There's only a week until his album comes out and it seems like I've been waiting forever. I didn't get to see him perform in the Fall but my fingers are crossed that we'll have tour dates soon and I'll be able to go. icon idea credit to fuskeez and to foxmonkey author of the fabulous Age of Love.

E: On monday we got 3 and a half inches of rain. All in one day. I feel that this is overkill. The weather gods are failing me man, I cannot ride my bike in torrential downpours. Unfair.

Also: Evidently I say things with a British accent occassionally. I obviously need to stop reading books by British authors. My friends are mocking me, this too, I feel is unfair.
