Hmmmm. I've signed up for classes this next semester, I'm only taking three classes and then I'll be an actual college graduate. It's a little overwhelming thinking about it but I'm pretty excited.

Also my classes should be pretty interesting. I'm taking one political science class called the US-Mexico connection; I'm sure I'll be learning a lot about NAFTA and I'm really looking forward to that class. My other two classes are meant to meet this requirement called Segment III. It's basically a requirement that you take three classes that all relate to each other in some sort of theme. You pick the theme first and then 3 classes within the categories. My cluster is about "Ideas and the Making of Culture." I've already taken one class that works for it on Marxism, Feminism, and Resistance and other two classes are both this semester. One is called Reality and the New Physics and the other is on the Einsteinian Revolution. Nether are specifically science classes so we'll be learning about the science behind the ideas and then talking about their impact on the world and our culture. I've got to say, before getting into Stargate Atlantis I probably wouldn't have been at all interested in any of this but the fandom has definitely pushed me to read up about quantum physics and relativity and al sorts of really weird, really cool theories about the universe. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what the classes will be like.

My back is killing me right now. I got tattooed today on my lower back; I had a California poppy and a shamrock added on either side of the pisces sign I already had. I ended up going to one of my friends who is a really great artist. That didn't really help with the pain though and I nearly passed out because I hadn't eaten before hand and JP ended up going to get me a taco from across the street while I laid down on the couch. I guess my back is particularly sensitive because the tattoos on my stomach didn't affect me nearly as much, but I passed out getting the pisces sign done too. There's really no comfortable way to sit down right now which sucks but I like the way the tattoo turned out so I guess that will make up for it. I'll take pictures in a couple of days.

Holy Crap! My AWESOME webhost dreamhost just OCTUPLED my bandwidth. I have a freaking terabyte of bandwidth. This is insane. Dreamhost is the best! I am totally ecstatic about this. I have so much space now! What should I host first? Does anyone want the first couple seasons of Stargate SG-1? Or the first 1.5 seasons of SGA? Wow. This is like owning the internet. Holy crap.

If you want to sign up for a year (23.2GB disk space, 960GB transfer/month) for $22.40, go here.

I'm going to go back to watching the commentary on my SGA dvds now. I toally love christmas *g*

I've been trying like mad to get a hold on the first couple of seasons of SG1, I would be forever in your debt if you could! :)

Wow, you got a new tatoo? Will you post pics? Just curious. Courage of people who get tatoos always fascinates me - there is snowball's chance in hell that I'd ever volunteer for such treatment - no matter what the gorgeous outcome. I hope you feel better soon!

Yay for bigger bandwidth. ;) Well, if you're taking wishes, I'd love to have SG1 Prometeus ubound - it was on YSI on Stargate eps, but got blocked before I got to my beautiful lan connection at work. Also -- but please note I have no idea how much work that involves - I'd like to know more about Asgard, if you know/have SG1 episodes when they first discover them, that would be great.

I'd love to get the last five episodes of SGA season 1, whenever you get the chance. :)

Ooh, that dreamhost offer looks so tempting! Does dreamhost have some sort of privacy feature for its domain registration, like Domains by Proxy or something similar to it? I couldn't quite tell from their site if they offered that.

You know I'm not sure if they do, but I ended up just opting to register privately through luckyregister and signing up with dreamhost using the preregistered address. And dreamhost is seriously worth it, they're a really great host, I've been extremely happy with their services.

But hey, you who seem to know how these things work, how does one get to use the extra diskspace? I don't get what they're saying about that. It's an "overall" plan? But where is it? This is making me very confused...

I ran into that problem last night, I think what you're going to need to do is go in an up your individual account limit in the users>manage users area and then wait a few hours for the changes to take effect. I was full up last night but I changed the limit and went to bed and this morning my uploads are going smoothly.

I reckon the back tattoo thing seems more sensitive because it seems to just radiate from teh centre through to the rest of your body.

I just bought SG1, but I'd be very interested to see any of the DVD extras for SGA if I'm allowed to vote for that. :)

Wow. I have nothing real interesting to comment on, the internet news has boggled my mind. I can't grasp the notion of a terabyte. I think I start looking the calculations after the first 1000GB. Wow.

Otherwise, your classes sound amazing. Much more interesting that the garbage I'm taking. Ha! Lucky you!

And I hope you manage to post pictures of your tatoo, I'm curious how they came out.

I totally can't even grasp the idea either, it's very overwhelming *g*

What classes are you taking right now?

I'll definitely be posting pictures of the new tattoos in a few days once they're done healing and the colors have settled.

I'm taking 5 random courses with almost no relation to each other at all: Arcaeological History and Practices, Social and Cultural Anthropology, Environmental Management and Sustainable Development (geography course), Canadian Lit., and Old English Language and Lit.

Waaaaaay too many majors. :|

Ah, and I just made a music post if you want to check it out. Not many interesting things this time, but meh, I felt like sharing.
