C4 was incredible. (OMG) DOM!! *squeeeeeeeee* whew. there. okay, it's out of my system, possibly.

So here's a rundown.

Day One:

Got on train to Milton Keynes, text message to o0hugsnkisses0o about meeting up.

Arrived in MK, walked to convention centre, was surprised to find that the event was being held in a shopping centre, so along with the big crowds of fans, there were ten million shoppers there as well, seemed a bit unhelpful if you ask me.

Met up with hnk and her sister, along with a girl names Jo, whose lj name I cannot remember. Had lunch, then went off to check out the event.

Got Christian Coulsen's autograph, he was Tom Riddle in HP. And omg hewassohot. And he was really nice to me, didn't seem to big on the small talk, but it was his birthday and he was really nice to me. I got a picture with him and got his autograph.

Wandered around some more, met megolas and then met up with eleveninches, altricial, kat99999, anatsuno, and marysiak, and possibly some more people whose names I cannot remember.

At this point we all split up and hnk and I went to get the Phelps twin's autographs while various others went for dinner/lunch. Didn't have to wait in line for Weasley's (v cool!) and got to say hi, chat for a minute. They were really sweet and I got pictures of them as well.

After that we decided that it was time to go queue up for the movie screenings so I met up with megolas, msilverstar, anatsuno, and marysia and then we all went over to the cinema where we saw The Two Towers and an hour long q&a with Dom Sala Baker, Lawrence (Lurtz) and Brian (?) who played the Witch King.

Dom was really cute, he was wearing an armband up near his elbow, along with a grey tshirt and a green scarf. He and Lawrence did most of the talking during the q&a but all of the guys were charming, and seemed really cool.

things I remembered to write down about their chats:

Dom's got two movies due out in the new year, one in which he plays a stoner.

When asked if he reads/gets his fan mail he said that it goes from his agents to his parents house in Manchester. He joked that his parents hate him. And said that it is all in large piles in their dining room. He said that it is essential that people who want replies send a self addressed stamped envelope, and said that he does try to reply to everyone who sends one with their letter. He said that his mom goes through them and will pull out the really special ones for him to read.

Asked about hobbies etc. Dom said that he absolutely adores surfing, would want to be a pro surfer if he wasn't an actor. Said he'd love to go up against Kelly Slater in the half pipe.

Also loves Manchester United, got to meet the team when he was in Manchester a while ago, said that that was a big highlight. Mentions Manchester United at least three or four times over the course of the evening.

Dom said that he and Billy are writing a script together and that they split it up 1/3 2/3 to work on it, and every few months they switch. Dom said that they're going to be working with a guy Marysia had heard of who was going to help them with the adaptation to screen stuff. And he said that they were hoping to be able to write more together in the future, so he and Billy want to make sure that it is the best it can be before they option it to a producer. He did mention that New Line and Dreamworks were possibly interested.

And finally: the big one. The Domlijah thing.

The question was something along the lines of: have you ever been online to any forums, have you ever seen anything about you on the internet.

Lawrence joked that he had seen Sala porn, and then Sala pretended to get up and leave the theatre.

From there Dom took over, and mentioned that he and Elijah had seen some interesting stuff about them on the net. Specifically that they were a couple and he said that he had seen some rumours about how he was pretending to date Elijah's sister so that he could really have a relationship with Elijah. And that there was one rumour about how New Line had made them sign contracts saying that they couldn't come out until after RotK. He then joked that him and Lij thought it would be funny to hold hands o9n the red carpet premiere. The whole time his attitude was that he didn't take any of it seriously. He seemed amused that people would come up with such intricate plot lines for it all. And he was generally mocking the idea that any of it was true. He also said that he thought it was funny that people would give all these "facts" saying that they "had it on good authority", he said that he didn't like denying or confirming the rumours because it was really amusing to see the reactions.
