cali: (bittorrent to the rescue)
I keep forgetting to mention this but a while ago I posted about looking into breast reduction surgery and I never posted about it again but I ended up deciding to go for it. I'm going to be having surgery on June 22. I've had the date scheduled for months and all the waiting has been driving me nuts so I'm pretty excited that it's coming up a lot sooner now. The recovery's probably going to mean at least a week at home in bed feeling like crap so I'm thinking hey! time to get addicted to more tv, right? So keeping in mind that I already watch: Veronica Mars, Supernatural, House, Stargate Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica:

[Poll #731107]

And now, back to finishing my second to last homework assignment of my college undergrad career because I'm graduating in one week dude. My grandma's even coming out for it. w00t.

Oh, I'm glad you decided to go ahead with the surgery. I'm considering it for myself, actually, but I figure I'll wait until after my boobs are saggy and ruined from having kids. *g*

Yeah, I'm really not planning on having children so I figured I should do it now while a) I have time to recuperate and b) before my back problems get too bad. I will definitely be letting everyone know how it goes.

Oh, and I see two people recommended CSI Las Vegas. It's a good show if you can take graphic gore, and have a kink for really smart, competent people. It airs in syndication on Spike TV every night at 7 and 8. Worth a gander, and not something you have to see in order at all.

That's a really good idea actually, also because I think there's like 5 seasons out on dvd already so I could rent them pretty easily. I've probably only seen 30 episodes of it already and I do like it, so yeah. CSI.

You decided to do it, all right. Good luck! I'm curious how it'll go.

What cup size are you now and what are you going down to?

I'm a 36 DD to DDD, and I'm planning on going down to a very low C/high B. I'm only 5'2" so my breasts are insanely out of proportion to the rest of me. For instance: I'm a size 6 in skirts at banana republic but if I wanted to get a dress to fit my chest right? I'd have to buy a size 14 or 16 and it would be HUGE everywhere else.

I've recced Black Books, for its completely random and brilliant hilarity. If you're unfamiliar with it, it's a UK series with Dylan Moran *point to icon* - he plays Bernard Black, a perpetually drunk Irishman who runs a bookshop but hates people. Bill Baily is his assistant, and Tamsin Greig runs to gift shop down the road, and comes in to drink wine at lunchtime. The first season is the best :D

I completely forgot to rec Spaced, Scrubs, Firefly, Due South, and CSI Vegas (Grissom rocks, Warwick is yummy, and I dare you not to totally feel for Nick in the Tarantino episodes).

Ok I totally have to second Black Books which belongs in the Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, and Young Ones canon (to which I would also add A Bit of Fry and Laurie and Mighty Boosh). Yay for British comedy! And yay for dS too!

Oh yes, I've actualy seen a few episodes of Black Books and laughed a TON. I adore British humor! Thanks for the reminder :D

I forgot Weeds and Entourage and Daily Show! But seriously, the Boosh, Arrested Development, Boston Legal and Shamless are some of the funniest things ever.

I too have only two assignments left before I graduate! I'm kinda surprised at a) how much I'm looking forward to it and b) how proud I am and c) how it snuck up on me like that. So congratulations!

I hope your surgery goes well!

Yay for graduating! I am so excited! What will you be doing after this? (the dreaded life plans question) My graduation snuck up on me for sure too.

After graduation I'll have to wait six months before the start of the academic year and I can do honours; so I'll have six months to figure out if I really want to do postgrad stuff, which I think I want to do. So I've got pretty much six months of a bit of paying work and some volunteer stuff ahead of me and nothing much else and it's looking pretty good :-D

You're doing postgrad law, right?

Do you SEE all the people talking about Entourage in this poll. You want Entourage, but mostly you just want Ari.

You know the best part is that everyone who voted for Entourage used exclamation marks. I think that's what sold me. Is it on dvd yet?

YES! Season one is out and Season two will be out on June 6th. Season 3 starts on June 11th.

ahhh, shows.... The only one I can think of right now is Dark Angel, with Jessica Alba and young!Jensen Ackles. Well, for the 2nd season anyways. Over here they show repeats on the Space network, but they're easy to find online.

also, surgery. I hope that goes well for you. I'm sure it'll be easy and such. Don't forget to update us on everything!
