follow me down the drain...

Things I love:

+ Finding a secret public garden/park that I never knew existed while bicycling today. We've deemed it the Secret Garden, and it has wonderfully lush dark green grass, sculptures, a water wall, and a bocce ball court. The kicker? No one knows it exists. It's hidden right behind a hotel and it looks like it's actually on their grounds but it is a public park. Beautiful.

+ Realising that I had a shitload of pictures stored on my photobucket account and some good media files on my illustratedstory.net site. So I didn't loose absolutely everything in the hard drive fuck up.

+ My bicycle.

+ New books.

+ Finding someone with a really fast connection and hundreds of mp3s on Acquisition, I ended up getting something like 70 or 80 songs from this guy, most of which were by people I hadn't heard of and they turned out to be brilliant. I will be reccing them soon.

+ End of the month bandwidth parties all over my flist.

+ Going for Thai food and having them bring us incredible Sweet Potato soup for free.

Things I hate:

- Weather report predicts rain tomorrow and I had looked forward to riding my bike to school.

- Not having a whole slew of peoples email addresses anymore, since I lost all of my old emails and addressbook in the epic hard drive crash.

- Not having any of said emails anymore.

- The fact that Apple, apparently, fucked up in putting my powerbook together again and it's running hotter than a mother. The fan is almost constantly on and my CPU is hotter than I can ever remember it being. So chances are, I'll have to send my computer in, yet again. Fuckers.

Oooh! I adore Secret Gardens! When I was really little, our old house had (what seemed at the time) a huge backyard, half covered in ivy with 200 ft redwoods. A 7 year old romantic's paradise.

Yup. I saw that. But it was wedged down at the bottom, and the park totally overrides it. ;)
