Happy belated fourth of July everyone!

let's take a minute to reflect on the state of our country shall we? We live in a country that cannot figure out how to make sure everyone has enough food to eat, a place to sleep, and the ability to go to a doctor when they need it. BUT! We are good at one thing and that's spending money and making bombs, damnit. And that's what we're gonna do because national security calls for bombs and showy military manoevres.

So. at a time that people are being jailed for life for spitting on cops or for smoking weed, let us celebrate our day of "independence".

uh, not that I'm bitter or anything.

Oh now you're just being negative. America doesn't need such naysayers. They're just doing their jobs, you know, and you shouldn't get angry at them or the people who tell them to do that job because that's just not nice. Shouldn't we all just sit down and buy some duct tape? Why do you need to go out and rail about injustice? It's just so MEAN. People are trying to watch American Idol here, and support our troops like George "Bring them on!" Bush and you go talking about this negative stuff. How does that make people feel, do you think?
