cali: (fuck?)
A post full of randomness.

The Good:
I've seen Pirates of the Caribbean twice now. And it was just as good the second time. While I was waiting for the movie to start I ran into this guy who I've known for about a year, but only vaguely. We've always gotten along pretty well despite the fact that he dated one of my friends and their relationship didn't end so well. The exciting thing about seeing him was really that he asked what I was doing this next semester and I mentioned that I'm going to be studying abroad in London, and he told me that he was going too! So now, instead of not knowing anyone on the trip, I'll actually have someone who I know over there. Which I'm really happy about.

Also cool: I got a custom moodtheme thanks to [livejournal.com profile] adelate. It's all the SDB's and I love it. To check out all the pictures go here.

The not so Good:
When I woke up this morning it was to my phone ringing and my sister telling my that our landlord just called to arrange to show our house to some prospective rentors tomorrow and on Sunday. This meant that while both of my roommates were out at work, I've had to spend the day cleaning up all of their messes, and doing all of their nasty month old dishes. Needless to say, that was not so fun. And my sister was supposed to get off work over an hour ago and come home and help clean, and she's still not back. That is not cool.

The Really Really Exciting:
[livejournal.com profile] tocomfortyou posted about this, which is how I heard. Evidently there is some sort of a convention in the UK called Collectormania. And they've announced that Dominic Monaghan, James & Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley), Anthony Stewart Head (Giles from Buffy), and Neil & Adrian Rayment (The twins from The Matrix Reloaded) are all gonna be there (among others).

The coolest part is that the event is free, although autographs cost money. And it's gonna be in October in Milton Keynes, which according to the website, is about an hour from London. Which means I'll be able to go!

Are there any other Brits who wanna go?
