done with school, snow patrol

  • This semester did not kill me! I am DONE. until January 25th. And I got an A in at least one, but possibly 3 of my classes. I won't know that for sure for another two weeks though. In celebration I got my hair cut and colored today. It is very red and I am so excited about it. Also I am making a firm pledge to complete my holiday cards by the end of Monday. So if any of you still haven't signed up, go here.

  • Continuing with the music-sharing theme (this time with format!):

    Group: Snow Patrol
    When & Where: Snow Patrol is a British band. Three of them are Northern Irish (the last one's a mystery) but they met in Scotland and put out their first album in 1998.
    Why should I care? They've got a very mellow indie-rock sound and the songs are great. Plus they have accents!

  • Speaking of music, do any of you lovelies have Franz Ferdinand's album? If so could you please send it to me with yousendit or something? That single of theirs is obscenely addictive.

  • That guy? The one who is totally charming and adorable? Yeah he never called. And he had an excuse the first week, since he'd gotten into a car accident and had a concussion, but then he said he'd call me on Sunday and he didn't. I'm surprisingly bummed out about this. He's really sweet, and didn't seem the flaky no-calling type. I'll show him though, when I see him this weekend with my awesome new hair and good outfit.

    I've not heard them accoustic, but a friend gave me the CD over the summer. I have since spread the addiction. :D So good. I even have these Snow Patrol icons.
