Happy Canada Day to all you Canadians on the friendslist (and happy July to all you non-canadians!) Also, happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] coolwhipdiva!

I'm awfully busy lately. I owe a bunch of you feedback *cough[livejournal.com profile] hackthis[livejournal.com profile] ethrosdemoncough* Along with the art show I mentioned the other day, I'm organizing a 4th of July BBQ as well.

Randomly: All you Harry Potter readers: what are your top 5 stories in the fandom? Also, can you rec me anything that's dark or has a kinda fucked up Harry in it? (sorry Kassie, I've got nothing)

Lastly: You guys seemed into the Long Way Round thing and since it's the 1st of the month and badwidth has reset, I'm gonna start the downloads. I'd like to remind y'all that you can still download a torrent of all 7 episodes (but it's big 2.3gigs). I'll be posting these about once a week I think. Please right-click and save the files, you're welcome to share the files but please don't share these links.

Okay. You want me to pick my five favorite stories? That's some kind of cruel and unusual punishment. But I'll give it a shot and, since I could easily come up with 5 HP/SS, I'll mix up the pairings.

Here are five a like a really whole lot.

Crucius by Dolores Crane. Harry/Snape. NC-17. When Harry leaves Hogwarts he turns to Snape.

Body of Knowledge by Arsenic. Hermione/Snape. NC-17. Hermione loses Draco. She finds Severus.

Rat's Alley by Fabula Rasa. Sirius/Snape. NC-17. Can't give it away...

The Tao of Diogenes by Treacle Tart. Ron/Snape. NC-17. The war is finally over and two veterans meet again…for the very first time.

Left My Heart by Emma Grant. Harry/Draco. NC-17. Auror Draco Malfoy has disappeared, and Harry Potter has been sent to find him. Brilliant story.

Huh. That was fun.

Oh dude. You totally rock. I'm afraid I haven't read much dark!Harry Potter fic so I was a little stymied when [livejournal.com profile] ethrosdemon asked for recs.
