cali: (group love)
I'm supposed to rec popslash for [livejournal.com profile] crack_van in September but I completely forgot! A lof of stories I would have recced have already been recced before so I need help.

What are your top 5 favorite popslash stories?

What stories do you go back and re-read?

What authors do you love who are totally underrated?

(nsync or bsb I don't care, any pairing you want)

eta also I once read a story about JC that had him throwing a hurricane party and time like, stopped or something. That's all I can remember. Anyone recognize it? found! it's [livejournal.com profile] giddygeek's 8:88

I'm fairly JoeC-centric but all of my favorites are here.

Nobody's Birthday by Merry is my all time favorite JoeC story.

I'm not in popslash very much atm but straight off the top of my head, my favourite story is Two Straight Guys in Wisconsin: The Amazing Adventures of Chris and His Cock by Rhys.

Fic recs
Thank you. That was the rec I'd wanted to rec, but I couldn't remember the title of it for the life of me.

Also, it didn't look like Silvia's (?) hoser story was recced, and that was very fun as I recall.

Good luck!

Good lord, it looks as if [livejournal.com profile] wearemany isn't on that page at all (or else I spelled her name wrong when I ran the search, which is also possible). the long run, a slow beating between them, a little rain... the list goes on and on.

I did an anti-otp meme for popslash a while ago, that might give you some ideas. I'm not sure how many have already been recced at [livejournal.com profile] crack_van though.

I also picked out some of my favs of the 2003 Don We Now Our Gay Apparel Challenge for a friend of mine here, here and here.

Hope that helps, and good luck! ^_^
